NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OWNER REQUESTED ANNEXATION The City Council of the City of Troy, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the 26th of August, 2019, at 6:00p.m. at the Troy City Hall, 201 E. Main, Troy, Texas, giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on one (1) requested voluntary annexation (CAD ID# 106526) by the City of Troy, Texas, this property being in Bell County, Texas.
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OWNER REQUESTED ANNEXATION

The City Council of the City of Troy, Texas, will hold a public hearing on the 26th of August, 2019, at 6:00p.m. at the Troy City Hall, 201 E. Main, Troy, Texas, giving all interested persons the right to appear and be heard on one (1) requested voluntary annexation (CAD ID# 106526) by the City of Troy, Texas, this property being in Bell County, Texas.

The property is more specifically described as:
CITY OF TROY ANNEXATION FIELD NOTES - 17.70 ACRES BELL COUNTY, TEXAS

Being all that certain tract or parcel of land situated in the G.A. HOLTSMAN SURVEY, Abstract No. 428, Bell County, Texas, and being all of a called 15.337 acre tract of land described in a deed to SHARON S. JILSON, recorded in Volume 5935, Page 530, Official Deed Records of Bell County, Texas, said tract previously being the remainder of a called 27 acre tract of land described as Tract Eight recorded in a deed to DOROTHEA R. SIMMONS in Volume 2719, Page 626, of said Deed Records, and also being part of Goates Road, said tract being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron rod with cap found for the southwest corner of said 15.337 acre tract, the northwest corner of a called 7.876 acre tract of land described in a deed to BUSTER SANDER and ROBERT PEACOCK recorded in Document No. 201500009428, of said Deed Records, and also being in the east boundary line of a called 3.525 acre tract of land described in a deed to SANDRA LAYTON ESQUEDA recorded in Volume 4645, Page 83, of said Deed Records, for the southwest corner of the herein described tract;
THENCE N 14°55'38" E, 643.77 feet (Rec. S 19°00'00" W, 2719/626), with the west boundary line of said Tract Eight and the east boundary line of said 3.525 acre tract to a 2 inch iron pipe found at the base of an old cedar fence post at the northeast corner of said 3.525 acre tract and at the southeast corner of a called 70.88 acre tract of land described in a deed to MC TURTLE CREEK DEVELOPMENT LLC recorded in Document No. 201600025145, of said Deed Records;

THENCE N 16°38'01" E, 140.11 feet (Rec. S 19°00'00" W, 2719/626), with the west boundary line of said Tract Eight and the east boundary line of said 70.88 acre tract to an iron rod with cap set for the northwest corner of said Tract Eight and for the southwest corner of a called 27.775 acre tract of land described in a deed to SHARON S. JILSON, recorded in Volume 5935, Page 522, of said Deed Records, previously being the southwest corner of a called 27 acre tract of land described as Tract Six recorded in a deed to DOROTHEA R. SIMMONS in Volume 2719, Page 626, of said Deed Records, for the northwest corner of the herein described tract;
THENCE S 73°21'59" E, 954.72 feet (Rec. N 71°00'00" W, 944.44', 2719/626), with the
common line of said Tract Eight and said Tract Six to an iron rod with cap set for the northeast corner of said Tract Eight, from which a ½ inch iron rod found for the southeast corner of said Tract Six and southwest corner of a called 3.72 acre tract of land described in a deed to

CESARE. CANTU and REBECCA CANTU recorded in Volume 5178, Page 444, of said Deed Records, previously being the southwest corner of a called 10.1 acre tract of land described as Tract Five recorded in a deed to DOROTHEA R. SIMMONS in Volume 2719, Page 626, of said Deed Records, bears S 74°00'35" E, 22.02 feet;
THENCE S 27°46'09" E, 80.60 feet, across and upon said Goates Road, to a 3 inch steel fence post corner found in the southeast margin of said Goates Road and in the northwest boundary line of a called 10.789 acre tract of land described in a deed to HICKS FAMILY PROPERTIES LLC - SERIES 711 recorded in Document No. 201700017963 , of said Deed Records;
THENCE following a fence along the common lines of said Goates Road and said 10.789 acre tract for the following courses:
1. S 44°23'01" W, 23.82 feet, to a 3 inch steel fence post corner found;
2. S 30°08'02" W, 14.23 feet, to a 3 inch steel fence post corner found;
3. S 17°01'15" W, 349.59 feet, to a 3 inch steel fence post corner found at the southwest corner of said 10.789 acre tract and at the northwest corner of a called 2.592 acre tract of land described in a deed to MONICA SOLIS recorded in Volume 2770, Page 162, of said Deed Records
THENCE S 17°40'52" W, 273.33 feet, along the west boundary line of said 2.592 acre tract and east boundary line of said Goates Road to a 1 inch iron pipe found at the southwest corner of said 2.592 acre tract and at the northwest corner of a called 1.299 acre tract of land described in a deed to SAMMY RAY WARREN ET AL recorded in Volume 1612, Page 689, of said Deed Records;
THENCE S 16°26'47" W, 65.81 feet, along the west boundary line of said 1.299 acre tract and east boundary line of said Goates Road to a point for the southeast corner of the herein described tract, from which a 1 inch iron pipe found at the southwest corner of said 1.299 acre tract and at the northeast intersection of said Goates Road and Shelly Drive bears S 16°26'47" W, 69.49 feet;

THENCE N 73°30'35" W (Rec. S 73°30'18" E, 201500009428), across and upon said Goates Road, at 38.46 feet passing an iron rod with cap found in the west right-of-way line of said Goates Road at the northeast corner of said 7.876 acre tract and for the southeast corner of said 15.337 acre tract, continuing the same course with the north boundary line of said 7.876 acre tract and south boundary line of said 15.337 acre tract for a total distance of
970.40 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 17.70 acres of land, more or less.
